The bridge approaches are the bottleneck: in the days before Eid, traffic can back up for hours.
Chauhali, Belkuchi and Kazipur lie along the Jamuna, where chars and erosion change local routes from season to season, and Tarash and Raiganj border Chalan Beel. From any of these, add time for the first leg and check your route before you travel.
