Getting from Chandpur to your Umrah flight
Chandpur pilgrims can reach Dhaka by river or by road, and every Vromon.com.bd Umrah package departs from Dhaka. The launch from Chandpur to Sadarghat takes around three to four hours and is a comfortable way to travel with luggage, but Sadarghat is in Old Dhaka, at the opposite end of the city from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. If you come by launch, allow two hours or more for the drive across the city, or arrive the day before. By road via Cumilla and the Dhaka–Chattogram highway the trip takes around three hours.
Chandpur’s Regional Passport Office handles e-passport enrolment for the district. Make sure every passport in your family has at least six months of validity on the day you travel.
