Fulchhari, Saghata and Sundarganj include chars that flood in the monsoon and are reached by boat. From there, plan to reach the town or the highway a day early. In December and January, fog can slow both roads and flights.

From Gobindaganj, the highway via Bogura and the Jamuna bridge reaches north Dhaka in around five to six hours. From the town, the train is a comfortable alternative.
